Tweening Activity

 

Procedure 1:

  1. Create a new Flash file (Action Script 3)
  2. Import the "Bee Movie Activity" folder from the Flash Resources Folder on the MSTechEd drive to the library.
  3. Grab the BeeMovie.gif image from the library and put it on the stage.
  4. Right click the image, choose "convert to symbol".
  5. Double-click the layer icon and change layer 1 to "BEE".
  6. Save the file in your TechEd folder on your Z drive as FirstLastBeeMovie.

Procedure 2:

  1. Right-click on your bee and select "motion tween". You'll notice that the timeline gets 24 frames added to it and the playhead rolls to frame 24.
  2. Move the Bee to another location on the screen.
  3. A motion spline appears on the screen. Grab ahold of the spline and change the bees path.
  4. Right click on frames 25, 50, 75, and 100 and choose "add blank keyframe".
  5. Move playhead to frame 25 and drag a new BEE symbol onto the screen in roughly the same area the first bee flew off the screen.
  6. Right click on the Bee and select "create motion tween".
  7. Move the playhead to frame 49 and move the bee to another location.
  8. Modify the motion spline to have the bee fly to another part of the screen.
  9. Repeat steps 5-8 and add a new bee into the other three keyframe locations on the stage.

Procedure 3:

  1. Add a new layer to your movie and call it "Flowers".
  2. Making sure you've selected the Flowers layer, bring an arrangement of flowers over from the library. If you plan on animating the flowers, you'll need to save them as symbols!
